Dr. Fritz Trybus has been a veterinarian in the area for over 19 years. He established the Cary Grove Animal Hospital (CGAH) in June 2012. Prior to practicing at CGAH he practiced at the Animal Hospital of Woodstock in Woodstock, IL. and at the Companion Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Crystal Lake, IL for several years. He built our new hospital building and moved Cary Grove Animal Hospital in to its current state of the art location on Route 14 in Cary on April 27, 2015.
Dr. Fritz spends the majority of his time performing surgical and dental procedures at Cary Grove Animal Hospital. He is trained in both general surgery as well as more advanced operations including Cruciate Ligament surgeries (TPLO and extracapsular repairs), foreign body surgery, splenectomy, gastropexy, lump removal/oncologic surgery and more. Dr. Fritz lives in rural McHenry County with a menagerie of his own and is a self proclaimed “crazy animal person.” He has dogs, cats, horses, and goats. When not at the Cary Grove Animal Hospital, he enjoys working on his hobby farm where he breeds, trains and shows American Quarter and Paint Horses.
